Is there still room? If so, any prerequisites that need to be done prior to the Merit Badge Day? And, should scout bring lunch?

I don't know. I forwarded your questions to the museum.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our upcoming Boy Scout Merit Badge Day at the International Printing Museum, in Carson, on Saturday, May 7. This is our first time doing this event, and we were a bit overwhelmed on the response with all of the spaces being taken in the first day it was announced on March 9th. Thank you for your patience in getting our response to your request; due to the high number of responses, we had to go through each of them and fill the list by time of request.

All of the available spaces were filled within 9 hours, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate your request. With the high interest, we are working on selecting a date in probably June and/or October for another Merit Badge Day. Your name is considered on the waiting list for one of those dates should you be interested.

The founder of the Printing Museum, Ernie Lindner, was an Eagle Scout back in 1930's, as was his son and grandson. You are certainly welcome to come to the Printing Museum on any given Saturday and enjoy a great, working experience of American and World History! Thank you again, and we look forward to having you at our next Merit Badge Day!

We'll be in touch shortly with our next dates.

Regards,

Mark Barbour
