April 27-28, 2012 - National Park Service Science Festival

Getting the word out to Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, regarding our annual Science Festival. It takes place Friday evening, April 27th and all day Saturday, April 28th at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills.

We like to focus on families with children, or in this case Scout troops and packs. The evening is largely devoted to going out on easy trail walks looking for critters of the night. Our science and ranger staff will lead the walks. They will share how scientists study plant and animal species in our efforts to preserve natural ecosystems. Saturday will have lots of stationary hands on activities as well as walks. It's a great opportunity to learn more about our natural environment, and it's all free.

Thanks for your help and support.
