Arrowmen go to Northern Tier for less

Please take a look at the information below.  This is a great adventure for any Arrowman to be able to make in his Scouting career.

Dear Lodge Advisers, Lodge Chiefs, and Fellow Arrowmen,

Slots for the Order of the Arrow's Wilderness Voyage and Canadian Odyssey program at Northern Tier National High Adventure Base are still available for this summer. The program is open to any Arrowmen ages 16-20, and it consists of a two-week excursion into the pristine wilderness area in northern Minnesota's and southern Ontario's boundary waters lakes region.

Participants go through a life-changing experience that challenges them physically, mentally, and spiritually in pursuit of a more comprehensive understanding of Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service.

This program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that has consistently turned inactive Lodge members into passionate, motivated leaders, and already passionate, motivated leaders into indispensable, dedicated Lodge members.

Spread the word about OAWV/CO! Here's what you need to know:

  • Each are 14-day programs: 1 week of volunteer service for the US Forest Service, 1 week paddling through the boundary waters
  • $200 per participant, travel not included
  • Each participant leaves as a Leave No Trace Certified Trainer
  • Great way to inspire and motivate upcoming Lodge leadership
  • Unparalleled opportunity for Lodge leaders to meet other Arrowmen from around the country and form lasting, meaningful bonds of brotherhood
