As Relationships Chair of Western Los Angeles County Council, I have been contacted by Michael Tauber, a volunteer Scouter in Los Angeles Area Council. Michael is leading an effort to include up to 300 Eagle Scouts from several Southern California Councils to march in the Rose Parade. Because there are many councils involved, we might expect that there will be a limited number of spots for WLACC Eagles.
If interested, please follow the instructions in the application and get your submission in as soon as possible.
This is a great Relationships opportunity for our Council inasmuch as our Eagle Scouts will be included for national visibility and promotion, we will be a part of a large community event, and we will have an opportunity for fellowship among the Eagles participating.
Please circulate in WLACC as appropriate.
